Zaycon Foods is at it again! right now they are offering extra lean Ground Beef for only $3.27lb. (93/7) If you have not heard of Zaycon–they are an exceptional company that sells meat in bulk (a long with other products) their meat is high in quality. They have nothing but high standards for their products:
- no chemicals, additives or water added to meat during processing
- Processed at a USDA-inspected, state-of-the-art plant employing strict operating protocols (including HACCP) and the highest in food-safety standards
- Prior to processing, inspectors from the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service randomly sample cattle under a monitoring plan and perform testing for antibiotic residues
- USDA nutrition labeling standards defines “extra lean” and “lean” ground beef based on the lean/fat ratio. While not part of these guidelines, the term “super lean” is often used in the grocery sector to describe ground beef at the upper end of the “lean” category (i.e., “Zaycon Foods 93/7 Super Lean Ground Beef”). This ground beef product is 93% lean and 7% fat
Zaycon foods is a company based in Washington that has recently brought delieveries to California, Arizona and Neveda. The process to order is simple:
- Head on over and register
- You will need to select a place to pick up. There are several California and Nevada locations
- Pay Online–and pick up your order on the specified day. (Must order by 2/29–or until sold out)
Zaycon Foods only sells their products in bulk.
When you purchase–you will be purchasing a 40 lb box! While this is intimidating..consider splitting the cost with a couple of friends! This would bring the price down considerably and you will have a great, quality meat at a great price!
This meat comes in a 40-lb case with four 10-lb chubs per case and is priced at $138. If you split the cost with four people that is only $34 for 10 pounds of high quality beef!

Yay! Another one of my favorite pasta sauces! Currently, you can snag these for $2.50 ea–look for $1.00/1 Peelies on the jars and pay only $1.50. A Great price on yummy organic pasta sauce.
