Here is some information that I gathered while looking through the comments you guys left and what I saw at the registers today when I went.
- I saw on a sign in my store that this promo ends 11/25. Some of you said it ends earlier–I would confirm that with more that one employee or ask a manager.
- Some of you said that your store is only doubling one “like” coupon–I would suggest trying this out yourself because in my trip I was able to double 4 even though an employee told me otherwise. This was automatically done by the register. I tired a 5th “like” coupon and it did not double.
- There are some coupons that say “do not double” at the top. Ralphs registers will still double this coupon as long as the barcode begins with a “5″
It looks like we will be living at Ralphs for the next two weeks! Do not forget to let me know how great you guys did!

My Name is Josie and I live in sunny Southern California and I am a stay at home mom to three beautiful boys. We all know that living in California is a task of it's own and saving in California IS possible! I started this blog mainly to share all the awesome deals out there and show others how to save in any area of life. Even though you may make the commitment to be frugal and pinch your pennies doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice!

This is awesome that ralphs is doing this. I live in central cali and we don’t have a ralphs here. I did the store locator and it came a store called food co came up. Do you know if that’s part of ralphs chainstore? I hardly shop at food co so I’m not fimilar with their coupon policy. If they are part of ralphs…does the double coupon apply?
sadly no
Thanks for all of these price match ups Josie! Just got back from my local Ralph’s and was able to get $95 worth of groceries for a little over $11!!!!! I do need to warn anyone in the Anaheim Hills area though: the Ralph’s off of Serrano and Weir Canyon is still only doubling ONE like coupon per transaction. Apparently they’ve had a LOT of confusion over this so the MGR went ahead and manually doubled the duplicates I had but made sure to inform me that this was not per the store’s policy going forward
So sad, but glad he was nice enough to do it for me this time. Yay!!!!
Sarah, try the one in plancentia on rose they are doubling 4 like coupons. I just got back from there and got $350 worth of groceries for $45!!! Thanks Josie for posting the match ups, Love your site!
Chelsee – I want your shopping list! I love that Ralph’s you shop at! It’s my regular store – That is a VERY impressive savings! (I’m not kidding – I’d really love to know what you bought. I’ve done couponing for a while but got pregnant and got so sick I had to pull back – and now my cupboards are BARE!)
Thanks Aimee! I know what you mean, I have a 1 yr old and its hard to get out. After this trip my pantry is stocked and still have so much left over i am donating it to a foodbank! My shopping list was really just based off of josie’s list and one other blog that covers ralphs thisfrugallife.com (i hope thats ok to post that). I did lots of multiples of ten of chicken broth, soups, ronzoni pasta (theres a blinkie machine right next to them), johnson baby lotion and wash, colgate toothpaste, green giant steamers, this list goes on and on. Oh and dont worry I left you plenty
they were really really well stocked! it was the 1st time going to that Ralps, i usually go to one in fullerton, but they are really coupon friendly and way better stocked then any other one i have been to. Good luck with your shopping trip!
I don’t know how I missed this, but I’m glad I checked in to see if there were any good Ralph’s deals for the week. I’m going to have to do some investigative work to see if either of the Ralph’s I shop at are participating and to what extent. There’s always some sort of glich…the closest store to me is the one by USC, and they no longer take printable coupons, yada, yada, yada….but maybe I can do this at the Westchester store because I’m literally foaming at the mouth after reading about the good deals you guys have scored.
Can someone clarify for me? To get the lower price of the “Buy 10 to get $5 off promotion”, I have to buy 10 DIFFERENT listed participating items, or can I buy say, 10 swanson broths for .50 cents, will I still get this promotion? I have multiple coupons of “like” items you’ve mentioned, but my store said they’d take only 1 “like” coupon
. Thanks.
You can buy 10 of the same or 10 different items as long as they are part of the “Buy 10, Get $5 ” promotion.
thanks!
I just finished another run at ralphs and had an extremely nice manager over seeing everything.. i got 60 items of the buy 10 save $5 and all went through perfectly. Also he mention how they are doubling ALL COUPONS no limit. He said to just go in and try it. Doesn’t hurt to try.
Ok, so just to clarify….there is no limit to the total # of coupons we can use, they will only take 4 or the same kind but everything should be doubled?
yes Jeneva!
Okay, so I had a great shopping trip at Ralph’s tonight for the first time in a long time. I spent $45.46 and saved $94.63. They still didn’t accept printables, and only doubled 1 “like” coupon, but it was a good trip regardless. I am going to check over my coupons again to see if there’s anything else I can score before the sale ends tomorrow!
Hello Mona,
Did you go to the one near USC? I tried on sunday and they accepted 4 like coupons. I’m going again today and just wondering if they changed the rules.
Sorry so late replying. I did go to the one by USC for my first trip..I went to the one by LAX for my second one. Were you able to double all 4 like coupons? When I went (to USC store), I only had a few like coupons, but I don’t think it doubled past one..now I’m curious and need to go back and check my receipt.
Well, I have a list made out and my total should come to around $3.00. I REALLY hope there’s no issues about doubling up to 4 like coupons. My local Ralph’s at 4S Ranch is usually really nice about coupon “glitches”, but I could do without the drama when I’m towing 2 kids around!
I know how you feel Gigi! I wish you luck! You can always call ahead just to make sure
Hey Josie,
Thanks for putting together such a great list! I was able to stock up on quite a bit of items thanks to you! Plus, I found a few more things while shopping tonight to add to your list. I’m loving these double coupon days!

Plus, I got a $2 Cat last night from Del Monte. I’m thinking this was for buying 3 of the Milkbone dog biscuits since they are owned by Del Monte. Yay for Ralphs double days!!!
The Ronzoni pasta is also in the buy 10, save $5 promo. With the buy 10 promo, they’re only 69cents each! Right next to their ronzoni was a blinkie machine for 55cents off any ronzoni , so only 14cents each! The manager at my store said they couldn’t double the blinkie because it says, “do not double.” But 14cents is still a great price!
I haven’t shopped Ralphs in at least 6 months because it’s on the other end of town for me, but this Double Coupon Promotion has me driving past my Vons and Albertsons!
I also bought to Smart taste Ronzoni pasta but I used some peelies I found on the Classico pasta sauce for $1 off 2! And some Ronzoni pasta boxes have coupons for the Classico sauce for $1 off 1. Peelies are AWESOME!
Josie,
where do I find your email?
Ariana: southerncalisaver @ gmail . com (remove the spaces) I also have a box in the top right hand corner on the blog page with a little envelope. Hit that and it will direct you to me email address
I just came back from Ralph’s in Monterey Park on Atlantic close to the 60 fwy. Some of my “like” coupons doubled, and some didn’t. I had 4 coupons not double. I had two of the .75 cent Better Oats printable coupon that was available a while ago, one doubled and the other didn’t. One other was probably a Fresh Selection peelie that said “do not double.” I don’t know what the other 2 coupons were that didn’t double b/c the receipt just says “scanned coupon.” But overall, I can’t complain. I saved 76% and we’re all stocked up on juice, yogurt, oatmeal and Nestlie cookie dough.
Josie, I love that you are in Southern California. Do you know of any other savings/coupon/mommy bloggers from this area?
thisfrugallife.com Here name is Jess–very sweet girl. Other than that none! Crazy uh?
I can’t wait to go tmro morning!
I tried to get the Simply Juice coupon, but they no longer have it available. Bummer.
I was about to type “Happy Ralph-ing” but that comes out completely differently than I mean it. ROFLOL Happy shopping instead!
Kate
LOL Kate! Thats awesome. Just one warning: These prices my be changed tomorrow as the new ad rolls out tomorrow! So last chance to get the prices listed is tonight. They could be better or higher as of tomorrow! If you want to see the new ad head on over here : http://www.southerncalisaver.com/2010/11/ralphs-11171125/
Thanks, Josie! I hadn’t checked the dates and thought it was all starting tmro. So I quick threw my coupons together and headed on over to Ralph’s.
End result? Paid $9.68 and saved $54.97!
Thank you so much for taking your time to coordinate, match and post for the rest of us! Not only do you totally rock, but you are an amazing blessing to all of us as well!
Kate
No problem Kate! Thank you for the kind words
I went and did this tonight- something went a little wrong with the 10/$5 deal and I ending up having to have them scan in 2 more Ricola (without a coupon) to get the $5 off (even though I had 20 items that should have worked)
I looked at my receipt afterward and a few coupons did not double- but I am not sure which ones.
So I was looking to spend around $9 and ended up at $18- but in the end I saved $95- so I would call it a good day.
Looks like next week may not be as good- except for the cereal.
it always sucks things don’t go as planned. I make sure to watch every single coupon when scanned..the cashiers probably hate me for it–but hey! I need to save money too
saving $95 is great!
