How to Score FREE (or really cheap) Meat!

I know there are a lot of newbies to coupons so I wanted to point something out to those who may not know. Here is a great way to score cheap or FREE meat.

Store specified coupons are a great resource. For example; the new Joy of Football Coupon book was just released in Safeway family stores: There is an excellent Beef coupon in it for $2 off ANY Rancher’s Reserve Beef Purchase. The AWESOME thing about this coupon is that there is no limit and no specifics!

The other night while at Vons I spotted several different Rancher’s Reserve items for as cheap as $2! So I was able to score the Boneless Rib Steak for only .83 after coupon!

So for all you newbies out there…know that if a coupon does not have any limitations on it about the product–you can get the cheapest and smallest that you can find! That means less money out of your pocket!

  Has anyone else had a problem using more than one of the meat coupons in a single transaction?? I tried to use 2 the other day and the register wouldnt allow it and the cashier wouldnt push it through even though it doesnt say “only one”???

  Can anyone tell me where in the store I can find the coupon book I went to Vons today and was unable to find it.

    I found some placed at the customer service desk and in a stand right at the front door

  Found mine next to the store circulars near the front door. I also had a hard time using more than 1 meat coupon in a transaction. The cashier pushed it through after I told her I would purchase it in a second transaction…even though the coupon did not specify that.

    Okay thank you both. I’ll check again at a different store. Josie can you tell my which Vons you found it at I’m also in socal. I went to the one in Sun city and I did not see them by the front door. Thanks.
