FREE Skintimate/ Schick Shaving Gel at CVS (100 Limit?!)

January 29, 2012 18:11 pm · 34 comments

woohoo! There seems to be an unadvertised Skintimate and Schick Shaving Gel deal going on this week. Skintimate Shave Gel and Schick Hydro Sensitive are ringing up $3.99 with a $4 ECB. If you purchase the Skintimate–you can do the following:

Buy Skintimate Shave Gel $3.99 ea
Use $0.55/1 coupon from 1/15 SS
Pay: $3.44, Get $4 ECB
= Free

Also, look for $2 peelie coupons of the Schick Hydro Gel, for a $2 MM!

The crazy thing is that some are reporting a limit of 100! I  DO NOT suggest you purchase 100 but hey, can’t beat free Shaving Gel!

Josie, there is also $2/1 on the skintimate. I bought both for the family and they all had the $2/1, awesome deal!

What size are these for? I’m thinking in giving this a try because I remembered that I still have my 25% off coupon that was emailed to me expires today.

I did it with the 7oz skintimate, but i think all the bigger sizes work. i don’t remember seeing another size for these brands.

Josie….On the limit do you mean you may be able to buy 3 in one transaction and get back $12 ecb??

@amanda – Yes, you’ll get a $12 ECB for the 3 that you buy.

I just got quite a few from my local CVS and it worked like a charm. They were priced at $3.89 for me and the Schick Hydro was priced at $4.29. But my boyfriend loves those Schick Hydro’s so .29 cents is worth it to me:)

Finally got back from my cvs here in los angeles. Confirmed here too! This actually came out to be a little moneymaker for me because I used the 25% off coupon that was emailed to me and worked like a charm. :)
2 skintimates 3.89ea.
3 Schick Shave gel sensative 4.29ea.
used (2) .55 skintimate coupons -1.10
used 25% cvs coupon (emailed) -4.92
used coupon machine $1eb -1.00

paid 14.92 with tax and got back $20 extra bucks. So $5.08 moneymaker for me. I still cannot believe the tag limit 100 per household! Talk about a ridiculous stock up deal. But please don’t just clear the shelves and sell it at the swapmeet! For once be nice and learn how to share, or donate to the most needed thanks. :)

The angels must be smiling upon me. I was just told that I am in charge of the out-of-town bags for my sister’s wedding in October so this deal is perfect timing for me. Thank you coupon fairy!! Now hopefully I can find enough of them. :-) I am planning to not get more than 5-10 per store though to leave some for others. Not much is more frustrating than cleared shelves!!

I was scared to attempt it, I scanned it and it read $3.87 but it didn’t say anything about ECBs…my store only had about 3 of skintimate and about 8-10 of schick of which none had peelies.

Got 1 this morning to test it, receipt says limit 1, boo! :[

There is 1 under the category that says quantity needed to earn this reward. But that just means that you only need to buy 1 to get the reward. It will still work for you if you buy more! Btw- this deal was working at 8:30 this morning! @brooke -

let’s see- do I try free iams at target or free shave gel at cvs at lunch- wonder if either are still in stock anywhere???

It seems that the “deal” may be over. I saw someone’s photo on another blog – some CVS stores are already posting info about “wording error”, and changing the limit to 1 per card.

I did this deal this morning before 8 am and it was working at my CVS here in Mira Mesa. I purchased 6 of them in the same transaction, and received a $24 ECB.

I went at 9:45 this morning in North OC and got 2 Skintimates and 2 Schicks. I used 2 of the .55 Q and my 25%, and only got $8 ECB. The bottom of the ECB said from the purchase of 2 select Schick products. But which 2 ?????? I only want them if they’re free. Wwhat can I say? Couponing has spoiled me ;-) Anybody have any suggestions?

Andrea January 30, 2012 at 11:57 am

@mw – On the Schick’s- which variety did you buy? As far as I know, only the Sensitive variety are giving out the $4 ECBs. So if you bought the moisturizing kind- that is probably why you only got $8 in ECBs!

Whooo Hooo….deal is still working here in So Cal! Bought 2 w/ 2 $0.55 off coupons and the girl @ the register couldn’t believe the $8.00 ECB that printed up! Thanks for the heads up!

Snagged four of them, cause I had for 55cent off coupons plus I used my CVS Cash card that I’ve been saving! spent 5.07 and got 16ecbs back. thanks for telling me about this deal!!

It worked for me. I did it during my lunch break… (bought 10 I think in 2 transactions.) It is working if you roll over them from a previous transaction on Shaving Gels. Try to split them in little transactions otherwise you end up like me with a big 24 ECB that need to be spent in one transaction.

Thanks a lot for the info! Awsome website!
