Neilsen is currently accepting applications for their Home Scan Panel. What is the Home Scan Panel? Well it’s actually rather simple: If chosen, you will receive a handheld Scanner and all you have to do is scan your groceries at least once a week! You will have to upload the results to your computer and have them sent to Neilsen every week but it literally takes maybe a minute and then you are done!
In return for your data they give you points to redeem cash and prizes! yay! I’m saving my points for the Blu-ray player. (I just Cashed out for this!) Can’t beat FREE and all I have to do is scan my groceries every week 
I personally enjoy this program and would recommend it to anyone willing to take a few extra moments after shopping to do this.
A NOTE: Neilsen is quite particular when accepting applications. If you don’t get a scanner right away; they may put you on the waiting list and you will be next in line!

I GOT ACCEPTED BUT ITS IN SPANISH AN THEY NEVER SEND ME ANYTHING I HAD TO DOWNLOAD SOMETHING CALL NEILESEN DIGITAL VOICE DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS?
I applied and got accepted the last time… but I didn’t receive anything (scanner?!?) in the mail
I’m so excited about this program, I got in the last time you mentioned it. My scanner is on it’s way.
I did this years ago, but had to stop when we switched to FIOS for internet. I keep trying every time they open up again because I now live in a different area, and have cable internet. Every time my area doesn’t need new people! So sad lol. Maybe I will have better luck next time because I’m moving to a new area in a few months.

I received an acceptance email a few weeks ago but have not received my scanner yet. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the scanner after you receive the acceptance email?
