Love me a Guy Couponer!

I just had to take a moment and say that I am pleasantly surprised by all the MEN couponers lately. The last couple of days I’ve noticed a few guys speak up about coupons on the blog.

Just so you know–I think it is GREAT to see a man sporting the coupon binder. This blog has seen very few guy commenters..and I’d love for ya’ll to keep it up!

I think the only way I could get my husband to sport a coupon binder, would be to attach a beer to it.. :D

Which begs the question… Use coupon on a first date?

LOL. My husband always complains how I carry a dipar bag, my reusable bag and my binder. Yet he also complains when I dont have it with me when we go eat somewhere that I had coupons for.

My bro proudly carries his binder along with two file folder bins to the store. We coupon together.

LOL Josie same thing with my hubby. If there was beer to is. He would hold it. You should have seen how excited he got over the corona and tequila deal a few weeks ago. I think I went to the store like 5 times that week. He kept giving me money and telling me, “Its a good price we need to stock up right. That is what you always say”..LOL I couldn’t argue :)

My husband would laugh at me. Now he always asks me for coupons before he goes to OSH, Home Depot, AutoZone, etc. Funny.

My husband has taken over our toddlers nightly bath routine so that I can coupon! We save so much money, he loves it! Especially when I can stock up on his absolute favorite treat, DiGiornio pizzas :)

I’ve seen more guys with coupon binders at my Rite Aid than girls. I never shop with my binder so I’m not sure how my husband would react plus I don’t like to take him shopping because he tries to buy a lot of stuff we don’t need and without a coupon for it. I agree it’s great that there are lots of guy couponers.

I am a coupon husband and proud of it. I’m the one who started couponing. A year ago I lost my job and was lying in bed watching Extreme couponing. I said I’m going to see if I can do it. I got some Sunday papers looked at the sites they were talking about followed the deals and the rest is history along with all the money we used to waste. My wife and I have put together a nice stock pile of items. Not to mention the time it gives my wife and I to spend together shopping. So to all you men who think its not cool to coupon. Let me tell you not only do you save money it can bring you and your wife closer. Sorry for the long comment but I have wanted to say this for a long time.

After couponing for a year or so, my husband got into it too. For the last two years or so he does the drug stores and I do the grocery stores. It is WONDERFUL! I still have to do most of the printing, and filing, but hey, he actually has a real job too! ;o)

I am very proud of my husband. He helps me coupon on shop and keeps me honest with my list. However the other day he sent me an email to work stating he went to Petsmart to get the dog food and he found coupons and bought like 3 cases for $20bux.
He was so excited on his deals and that he used coupons it made me smile!

In my quest to retrieve doublers yesterday. My new male neighbor told me not to check the other trash by the mailbox because he already hit it for the doublers. I was like WHAT!!! How did you know???LOL!!! He then asked me how many I found and I told him only two; most people only check their mail once a week so I’ll check tomorrow. He then handed me 5 more savings books and told me the apartment complex down street has tons and would share. I was so happy I had to give him a hug. I now have 2 couponing neighbors, one male and female. This is awesome. And let me tell you his Binder was flawless.

I am a guy and I have been couponing for years.
I refuse to pay full price for anything.
My friends are amazed at what I get for free or just pennies.
Name brand razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, dish detergent, pasta, condiments, etc…….
And I have enough of a stockpile to help my friend out who is on disability after a car accident as well as donate 4 bags of items to the Stamp Out Hunger food drive earlier this month.
My boyfriend is on board with me couponing, sometimes goes shopping with me and if he sees Internet coupons, he will print them. He also prints any from his computer that are really good deals (especially the Target store coupons) and LOVES the BOGO restaurant coupons that I get.

If i wasn’t for me couponing there wouldn’t be any going on in my house. My wife hates shopping, and she tends to get a little embarrassed, especially when I’m doing multiple transactions. Lol

Wow I’m super impressed by all you guys!! I can barely even get my hubby to go to the grocery store (and even then he will only go if I’m away or at work and it is something he absolutely can’t live without, like water or beer), I can’t imagine getting him to use coupons. He used to think my couponing was silly but he’s warmed up to it because I bring home random treats for him that I probably wouldn’t otherwise.

    Go guys!
