My Name is Josie and I live in sunny Southern California and I am a stay at home mom to three beautiful boys. We all know that living in California is a task of it's own and saving in California IS possible! I started this blog mainly to share all the awesome deals out there and show others how to save in any area of life. Even though you may make the commitment to be frugal and pinch your pennies doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice!

Here was my scenario for the $10 gas card deal:
Purchased:
2 Physician’s Formula Firming Moisturizer – $19.99 each
4 Cocoa Pebbles Cereal – $2 each
1 M&M’s Milk Chocolate – $3
1 Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Toothpaste (not part of gas card deal, but had coupon from the CVS machine) – $4.99
Total before coupons/deals: $55.97
Used:
CVS BOGO free for Physician’s Formula ($19.99)
$15 off Physician’s Formula (from Magic Coupon Machine) ($15.00)
2 – $1/2 Cocoa Pebbles coupons ($2.00)
$1 off M&M’s from All You magazine ($1.00)
Colgate Sensitive coupon ($0.50)
$1 off Colgate sensitive coupon from MCM ($1.00)
Total after coupons/deals: $17.48 (I had $10 in ECBs from last week – $7.48 OOP)
Received : $10 Gas Card
$4 ECB (from Colgate toothpaste – 0.51 MM)
wow Now that is awesome!!
There’s also a deal on Barilla pasta. Each blue box is on sale for $1. In SS 6/24, there’s a coupon for $1/2.
I’m so annoyed with my CVS on Benton & Winchester!! I went for the Huggies pull up deal. I had a $10 ECB from last week that I was going to use. I bought three jumbo packs of the pull ups and had 3 $2.50 off coupons. The cashier told me I would have to do three transactions since the coupon stated one per purchase. I told her I was purchasing 3 and it doesn’t say one per transaction. We went back and forth on it and she finally called someone and they said I couldn’t use the 3 coupons even though I was purchasing 3 packs. So the cashier did 3 separate trans and I couldn’t use my $10 ECB since each trans total was $8. Ugh! Did they change a policy??
no, there are just alot of ignorant cashiers
