I use it to unclog my drains.

I mix boiling water, baking soda and vinegar then pour immediately down the clogged drain. Equal parts of baking soda and vinegar work well, if I use more baking soda and vinegar it makes a stronger chemical reaction.

For cleaning the microwave: 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water in a glass measuring cup, microwave it until the mixture boils, then wipe the inside of the microwave down. It makes everything just wipe right off.

I extend my fabric softener by mixing equal parts vinegar, water, and my favourite fabric softener. Add the same amount to each load, and no vinegar smell remains, just softer clothes and whatever scent the softener had!

Oh and by having any vinegar running thru the washing machine, the machine will stay cleaner. A nice side-effect of trying to stretch your fabric softener!

Good for tummy aches. One teaspoon straight and pain is gone shortly after.

It’s hard to get down, but 1 tsp. straight as soon as you’re nauseated and you won’t throw up. Kills bacteria in the belly. However, don’t take it after vomiting or it’ll just come back up.

Apple cider vinegar is good to use as a vaginal rinse. It must be diluted in water. you can substitute it for douching products as they are no longer recommended by MD’s.

I also use it to take the musty smell from bath towels, jeans, or heavier items in my front loading washing machine. I do a cup of white vinegar in the prewash and then normal detergent in the regular detergent compartment. The vinegar seems to make the detergent smell stronger. It always removes the musty smells. :-)
Also, mix vinegar with baking soda into a paste and use it to scrub away any dark spotting on stainless steel pans. Works wonders!

I use the apple cider vinegar in recipes. I found a pan fried pork steak recipe on you tube that I had all the ingredients for and it was really good.

A cup of vinegar in laundry loads and in when you run your dishwasher will cut down on children’s colds/flues A LOT. You can also use it w/ a 1/4 vin. to 3/4 water ratio to clean berries when you first get them. Let them dry & put in fridge for longer shelf life. Kills the mold spores.

I use apple cider vinegar to relieve my dry itchy scalp since it removes shampoo build up. You just have to rinse a lot to remove the smell. Vinegar is also a great remedy for yeast infection since it kills fungus. Rinse the affected area with equal parts water.

I use it as the rinse aid in my dishwasher. No smell and keeps everything shiny :-) And defintaly second the berry wash! I wash al our berries in water and vinegar and it helps to keep them fresh longer, especially blueberries.

If you have any small pets like rats, you can use 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water as a cage cleaner and deodorizer instead of pay lots of $ at petsmart for theirs.
