My cashier told me that when an order is $0 it freezes up the register and they have to enter approvals, etc. Also, you don’t get any game pieces when total is $0 so if you have something else to buy, it makes it easier. (I got 2 $0.25 KC Masterpiece BBQ sauces – $2.00 off 2, expires today)
Also, FYI… if you used distilled water like I do…it is included in the buy 2, get $1 catalina. Albertsons brand for $0.89 each ends up being $0.39 each….that beats any price I’ve ever seen for distilled water (Walmart, Target, etc)

I tried to use 3 coupons in a transaction and only the first $1.00 would go through. I only got 1 sponge that day but I used the coupon on 2 subsequent transactions with no problem.

First she wasn’t sure if the coupon was for the sponges, but after talking to other workers they decided it was ok. Then when she rang me up, it did not charge me for sales tax and got held up again. Finally, she just let me buy them for free. I held up the line for about 5-10 minutes for free sponge! Yikes!
