Rite Aid – FREE or Cheap Soft Scrub

UPDATE: This deal does not appear to be valid in SoCal.  People are getting the $1 +Up for the monthly deal but not the $2 +Up or the sale price of $2.50.  :(

This week at Rite Aid Soft Scrub is on sale 2/$5, PLUS you can get a $2 +Up reward for buying 2.  There is a 2nd +Up reported to be printing for $1 wyb 2.  Take all this and add on the new $1/1 coupon, and you have some FREE Soft Scrub.

Buy 2 Softscrub at $2.50
Use (2) $1/1 Softscrub coupons
or Use $1/1 from 6/17 RP
Pay $3.00 and get back a $2 +Up and a $1 +Up!
= 2 for Free!

I bought the softscrub at Riteaid on Sunday and it was not 2/$5 here. I looked through the Rite aid ad and couldn’t find it. I tried it anyways because I had seen it was on sale 2/$5 in the ad previews. Mine rang up at $3.49 each and I only got a $1 UP?

Me too, Im in Northridge and exact same thing happened, after the cashier rang me up I realized that it wasn’t the “right” price, so I asked if they were 2/$5 and was told no, they were $3.49 each. Bummer : (

I’m in LA too… the cleaning supplies are not in my ad and I double checked while at RA today and they are definitely not on sale. I remember this happened once before when there was a deal on similar cleaning supplies that wasn’t available in LA. Bummer as I really wanted to do the Soft Scrub deal (thanks for the other posts though — at least I don’t have to look through my ad for the 10th time trying to find the ad and wondering if I’m losing my mind!!)

Not on sale in Fountain Valley or in my ad in Huntington Beach :( I didn’t realize Rite Aid had regional ad’s within southern California

I went to two different Rite Aid Stores in El Cajon and one store corrected the sign to read 2 for $5 but the up reward did not print so they gave me the reward. The first Rite Aid did not have the sale price or sign listed.

In Banning I went in to the store, the sign said $3.49, I went up to the register and asked for a price check (just to check), the guy said they were $3.49. I said NM the blogs had said they were $2/5 and that was why I wanted them. I offered to put them back on the shelf for the guy and he said he would give me the $2/5 deal. I only got $1 in +UP, but since I used $3 in +UP to pay I only paid $.16. That was a nice surprise from him, I did not expect him to do that!

I have been seeing this trend for the last few weeks here in So. Cal. On I heartriteaid.com a few weeks ago Swiffer was in the ad, but not here. Then last week it was Lysol. So I guess Rite Aid is changing it up here. I guess they don’t think we need our cleaning products. Boo

I too live in LA and my Rite Aid had it posted but it wasnt evident to any buyer or the workers. When I bought them it rang up as 4.49 each and I had to go back today. Because I never recieved my up rewards she gave it back in cash ( dont know if she was allowed to but she did it anyways)
