Better than FREE Jose Ole Burritos at Albertsons

You can grab 2 FREE Jose Ole frozen burritos  at Albertsons–plus snag a little overage! My store clearly had THIS SIGN available for the cashiers to read. .. and your store should allow overage. I was told by the manager that it should be a area-wide policy.

Jose Ole Burritos $1
Use $3/2 Jose Ole printable coupon
= 2 free + Overage!

Be sure that you add something to your cart to absorb the extra $1– maybe fruit or bread?

i have 4 mq for this and I took it to Albertsons today. The manager wouldn’t let me get the overage. I told him, it is your policy and you should look at it. So he went and got a copy of his policy, read it and told me, It’s not here but I will give it to you this time, one time. I said, can I look at it? And I saw it there. I told him, look here, it says : you will acccept the full face value of the coupon and the excess will go towards the basket. (or something like that) BANG! I slapped him on his face! (not literally) He said he was sorry, he never had an experience like that before. LOL

So, I got 12 burritos and 2lbs of bananas, all for free!

when they accuse you of copying coupon, show them the unique identifiying coupon code. each Smart source, coupons.com, online printable coupons ALL have unique ID # that is different from the next one hence them the coupon sites keeping track of if YOU are really copying or not. That should shut them up.haha

My cashier put one of the coupons on the side and said I only gave him one. When I pointed out where it was then he manually punched in $2 off and didn’t scan the coupon. When I said I only see one $3 off on the screen then he finally scanned the coupon without saying anything. I wonder if he was trying to save one for himself and thought I won’t notice.

Weird..when I went to albertsons the other day the cashier asked me if I copied my coupons…I only had 2 of the same coupon (and each had their own serial number)

I found them at Von’s for $1 also. I had to buy 3 burritos, in order for the coupon to scan correctly…apparently the computer didn’t know what to do with the overage…and neither did the cashier! I did have other things in my transaction too, if you were wondering. So if you are going to Von’s, just buy 3 to avoid the hassle.

I went to vons too and got 4 with the coupon. I don’t think the overage went anywhere but as long as it worked it is all good. Btw thanks to the hints and tips from this site I managed to only $24 for $60 worth of groceries at vons. Pretty sweet. My mom used to be notorious for being a “coupon” lady but now i’m showing her up in a way ;P

Thankfully there is another withing close driving distance so I can still get my overage now!

I bought 4 burritos yesterday along with 10 Totinos Pizza Rolls – the cashier gave me a hard time saying that the picture didn’t match the item. I told her the wording says “any item”, and then she was talking to her manager and complained about the $6 overage – luckily the manager sided with me :) So, for 4 burritos, 10 pizza rolls, 2 boxes of Bar S corn dogs, I paid $12.48, and $7.98 of that was for the corn dogs :)

The manager at the Irvine location said I could only use the overage toward the same exact product, even after I showed him the coupon policy. He said he wasn’t going to “argue” with me?? I’ll pick my battles thank you very much. Walked out with 6 burritos and 2 clearance loreal sunscreens for $1.64.

Got 10!!! I’m sooo excited!! I had 4 of the $3 off 2 MQs. They didn’t scan, but I think cuz my printer is low on ink. So the manager inputted them for me :)

I also found this great deal:
Orbit 3 pack on clearance for $1.75

Used $1.50 off 3 Orbit packs and used the doubler to make it $2.50 off of $3.50. so 6 packs of gum for $1 :)

I went to Albertsons on Van Buren in Riverside this morning and got 8 chimichangas for free with 4 coupons. The cashier looked at the coupons a lot and gave me a look like I was trying to commit a felony. They went through but with no overage because he manually typed them in at $2.00 each. =/

You were ripped off on coupon value! I told my cashier that they need to ring up at $3 or they need to be manually put in because Albertson’s coupon policy says they give overage when the value of the coupon exceeds the price of the item. I used the overage on other groceries. I’d seriously take the policy in writing and your receipt back to the store and make them give you $4. Then again, I am a nut like that. :)

Went to albertsons today in corona off ontario. Cashier would not take my coupons bc the item did not match the picture. After she called over a manager, the manager did not know the coupon policy, could not find the coupon and would not even let me use the coupon without even getting any overage. During this fiasco, I was reminded that I had a customer behind me. “I’m sorry am I not a customer???” Moral the story in my line of business, it would extremely unacceptable for me not to know my job and you better believe if I didn’t know the answer I WOULD FIND IT. With this being said, I will try another store tomorrow after talking to customer service:) Happy Couponing!!

I have found that Albertsons on Ontario to be hit or miss. I went in there today with 6 of the Jose Ole coupons, bought 12 of the burritos and the overage went towards the other items in my cart without issue. The cashier did spread out all of the coupons in front of him and check each one to make sure the numbers weren’t identical (which I have never had a cashier do before.) Best bet is to bring a print out of their coupon policy with you (I have had to pull it out before when a manager questioned the overage but they quickly obliged when they realized I was correct and knew their coupon policy better than they did! ha!)

I’ve tried 2 Albertsons and both would not take coupon because it didn’t scan. I was told it didn’t match picture and after I emphasized the wording they argued the price difference-sad we know their policies better than the managers but in the end both stores wouldnt take it. Used them at stater bros and got the 3 burritos for free.
