out of curiosity, if you’re buying 4 why not use (2) $1/2 coupons? i don’t shop at rite-aids btw. so i’m not really sure what their coupon policy is.
The Deal Idea does assume the use of (2) $1/2 coupons: $2.50 x 4 = $10, then $10 – $1 Q – $1 Q = pay $8.
If we do this, we can’t do the Lays, right?

Has anyone tried it in Anaheim, Orange? My Rite Aid had them for $4.99.
I tried in Rancho Santa Margarita- purchased 4 boxes honey graham used 2 $1/2 coupons and then got back (2) $2 up rewards and (1) $5 up reward= $9 up rewards. My store only had 2 goldfish left bought 2 of those and got a (1) $2 up reward. Last time I opted out of getting the up rewards loaded to my card and now this time they were loaded again to my card!
i bought 2 honey maid grahams and 2 nabisco cracker did not get the 5UP DEAL. ONLY GET TOTAL 4 UP. I THINK THE PREVIOUS UP EARNED ON THE CARD BRING MY TOTAL BELOW $10 THAT WHY I DIDN’T GET THE 5 UP. WHAT DO YOU THINK? ALSO, I TRIED TO RETURN A ITEM WHICH I PAID FULL PRICE FOR. THE CASHIER DEDUCTED MY ALL MY UP COUPON AND TOLD ME I CAN ONLY GET THE DIFFERENT FOR REFUND. EX: ITEM COST 15 DOLLAR. Then tell her to give all your coupons and UPs back. I always get the amount of the item back instead of the total I paid. I would go back and speak to a mgr. or call Corp. if I were you.
yes they are supposed to return full value i would of argued that upr are just as gd of cash their ..plus if their was coupons they wouls be getting credit from manufacture!!! Not cool !!!
I have had this happened to me… Say an item is 1.99 and you have a $1.00/1… you pay out of pocket $0.99. If you return the item, you only get back what you paid, in this case was $0.99. They do not return coupon or give you credit. I personally think that is wrong and I called corporate and they told me the same, but since the manager was being an A-hole to me they sent me a $25 GC to continue to shop at their stores. Now sadly i watch my transactions like a hawk! If there is an issue tell them right then and there so they can give your physical coupons back, by voiding out the whole transaction. HTH
that happened to me a while back but i told them it’s not fair and i’m not
leaving without the full amount i paid, i told them i don’t mind if they put it in their gift or return card but i want my money back. ultimately the manager decided to put the full amount in a return card. if i were you i will
call customer service. maybe the cashier just doesn’t know how to do it?
Regarding the $5 +UP that you didn’t get, the deal is only on the Honey Maid Graham Crackers, not on Nabisco Crackers. I tried it myself tonight since my store didn’t have the graham crackers, but they had a bunch of Cheese Nips that had $0.50 Rite Aid coupons on them. I was able to stack them with my manufacturer coupons and still got a great deal.

Yes- it is only Walgreens that you can not use register rewards to earn register rewards on the same items. CVS Extra Bucks & Rite Aid UPs can be used on any deals. But Rite Aid Ups now require you to wait until 6 am the next day to “roll” them…otherwise they show up as invalid to the cashier if you just received them that day.
