Josie, if I did the Revlon deal twice last week, can I do it again or is it the same deal?

so since the +up rewards load up on our card, i haven’t been able to choose when and what nest transaction i wasnt to use my rewards towards it just automatically uses it on the next purchase. I don’t really like this.

That’s exactly why I opted out before my first purchase after the changes took place. Thankfully Josie forewarned us so we knew to plan ahead for it.

I actually had a cashier at the one i’m going to go to now, the other one was just rude…….she said…..Don’t scan your card at all until the end…..have them ring everything up, hand over all your q’s and then scan your card…..she said if you scan your card first, it will automatically take off any +ups you have on there…..and by doing that, there may be some instances where you won’t even be able to use the paper q’s you have if you’ve got lots of +ups on the card…….make sense? :)

I think this assumption is wrong. Today, after paper Qs and two $4 Loaded +Ups, my total was $0.96 before tax. By mistake I used an additional paper +Up for $1 that had been mailed to me from Rite Aid customer service and it bumped one of the $4 Loaded +Ups off making the total before tax $3.96.
Based on this, my assumption is the computer will load as many Loaded +Ups on as possible but then unload them if you have paper Qs, etc.
So far, I’m liking it for the way I shop at Rite Aid – I very rarely do multiple transactions in one day and my local Rite Aid is usually a hassle with coupons so its one less thing to worry about. We’ll see if I change my mind over time.

            Eric,

+Ups don’t usually deduct tax, so if your total was $0.96 (before tax) and you added a $1 +Up, then the computer would have kicked out one of your other +Ups because you were $0.04 short. Hope that helps =)

Not a fan either. I tried to opt out at the register, but they didn’t know how. I made a purchase and had coupons, but the register automatically took off my total with ALL my UP rewards… I didn’t get to use any coupons :( I was so sad!

Opting out through online chat is MUCH faster than calling customer service. Expect wait time if you call. I opted out thru chat the other morning and my UPs started printing that afternoon. I’m almost positive it’s effective right away but just didn’t experience it myself. While my co-worker called and didn’t get the print until after the next day. Although they’ll tell you to expect at least up to 48 hrs for it to take effect.

The cashiers can do it, though a lot are not trained. Most managers are though.

    Instructions to give cashier.
    Press Shift+Esc
    Choose +UP Options
    Enter Card Number/ Phone Number
    Select Print
Press Update (or something like it)
    And you should be set.

Is the final price listed above for the Duracell batteries a pretty good deal? Batteries are one item for which I have not been able to figure out what is a good price.

Today I bought 2 cans of Folger’s Coffee (big cans) and used (2) $1/1 MQ’s that were from my Vallarta grocery ad and it double dipped. I got back (2) $2 +ups and (1) $3 +up so it was like paying $4.49 each. I also bought Advil Migraine $3.49 – $1/1 printable from the Advil website and submitted for the $2 SCR and I have tracking towards the monthly $10 +ip wyb $30 of Advil, Thermacare etc, products.

I am new shopping at Rite Aid and I am confused about my receipt. Today I did the Pro Glide deal + Aquafresh Kids Toothpaste + Whipped Creme Make up, OOP $11.65 including taxes and all my UPs rang up correctly. My question is: on the bottom of my receipt it reads $10 Revlon Face and Lip $4+UP total $0.98 and $25 Colgate Pfizer $10+UP total $6.97. Does it mean if I spend $0.98 in Revlon products, I get $4 UP? And is it the same thing for the Colgate? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

That’s tracking on your receipt so if you have $0.98 for Revlon you would need to spend another $9.02 to reach $10 for a $4 +up. For the Pfizer you have $6.97 tracking so you’d have to spend another $18.03 for the $10 +up. The Pfizer products include Advil, Thermacare etc
