  Josie, Is this the best time to buy candy or do you think there will be a better sale next week?

  Considering I’ve bought toilet paper or paper towel only at Costco so far and am just starting to build a stock pile, is it a good deal on the Scott paper products? I did some math and found out that it is cheaper than Costco, but one ply, but am ok with that as of now. Please help.

    Thanks Josie, completely forgot about this post. The package when I checked in the ad has 1257.6 sqft in one. So I move the decimal two place, anything below $12.57 is a stock up price according to the post. After ecb, it will be $6.66 so a great price right? Unless am looking at the sqft wrong…

      If you buy 5@6.97 your OOP would be $34.85-10 EBC = 24.85 or $4.97 each. That’s a good price. Sometimes this TP is on sale for $6.99 so I don’t think that is a stock up price for this TP.

        There is a $1/12 in today’s SS which will make it $3.97. So I guess it’s a good price since I always buy full price at Costco.

          From my experience, the quality of Costco paper products are so much better than Scott’s. I do buy Scott paper products occasionally, but I prefer Costco quality.

          I always buy Scott TP. I find that it is the only type that is kind to my home’s old plumbing. My stock up price is always $4 a 12 pack (I rarely find it for less). So with coupons it would be $3.97 ea.

    I bought 5 of the 2/$6 packs at CVS. I used (1) $1/3 mfg coupon for Hershey’s and (1) $1/2 from the coupon machine. I got a $5 EB reward so $8 for 5 bags of chocolate candy. Not a great deal, but I just haven’t seen anything else.

  Josie, am not clear how the cover girl flip stick is $2.50. The limit is 1, so to use the $5/2, you need to buy 2*$9=$18, use $5/2 so pay $13 and get $4 ecb. Net will be $4.50 each.

  So, I did the Scott/Kleenex tissue deal today

  I bought 4 Scott Bath Tissue & 2 Kleenex Tissue and paid $26.08 + tax and got back $10 ECB.

  Scott Bath Tissue $6.97 – $2.30(33%) – $1(peelie) = approx $3.67
  Kleenex Cool Touch $1.50 – $.50(33%) – $.40(peelie) = approx $.60

  The good news is that they ALL came with peelies! The Scott tissue had $1 and the Kleenex Cool Touch had $.40. Since I needed toilet papers, I think this was a pretty good deal. I also used the Groupon $10 for $20 CVS GC from January. I ended up paying $8.47 including tax!!!
