I’m hoping this double dips: Garnier Sham or Conditioner 25.4 oz is 5.99 and you get 5UP wyb 15. Also, in the regional section the Garnier Sham/Cond 10-13 oz or Stylers is get back 5UP wyb 15. Using the B1G1 Garnier MQ (buy any 25.4oz sham/condd and get any 13oz sham/cond free) will hopefully trigger BOTH! I don’t know the prices for the smaller shamp/cond, but I’ll be at my store in the morning and will report back!

Yes, please let us know, as I am hoping to do the same deal today as well! I’m also wondering if you could use three separate $1/1 MQs plus the B1G1 MQ on 3 large-size Fructis bottles and still get 1 small one for free—I’m thinking probably not.

At my store, the price on the smaller shampoos and conditioners is $3.99 ($3.19 with Gold discount). And yes, they apply toward the regional $5 UP deal.

i did my math on the gain detergent on sale for $5 .. when you buy 4 with 2 -$2 off coupon for the four detergents that im buying. with up rewards it goes down to 2.25 per item. is that a good price for the gain detergent? i know the cheer is a better price but i dont have those coupons.

For the Trident deal there’s also the $0.25 VV coupon that can be used. On my receipt this week I got the $2 RA Centrum Flavor Burst coupon that makes the deal even better. The Spinbrush scenario is actually cheaper than listed since it’s BOGO 50% off ($5 +up wyb $10). $8.99 + $4.49 = $13.48 – (2) $2 printables = $9.48 – $5 +up = $2.24 each.

I’ve never couponed at Rite Aid but lately I’ve been watching videos of everyones hauls and I have to say Rite Aid is looking pretty good lol. I just had a quick question, can you do multiple transactions in one day? I’ve seen people do one transaction one day and then the next day do another?? I’m kind of confused.

Recently they changed the policy on using your up rewaeds. You can’t use them till after 6 AM the following day. So it is less OOP if you can return the following day and us your up rewards.

    • Anne October 11, 2012 at 11:09 pm edit

It probably has to do with UPs not being available for use until 6am the next day. I usually do the same thing since I want a lower out of pocket. But you could do multiple transactions the same day if you dont mind the higher out of pocket. The savings are all the same in the end though.

When u need to buy for example 2 items to get an up reward.. if you choose to buy 1 item one day and the second item the next day will you still get the up reward or do do u have to buy both items on the same transaction?

    Reply
    • Rebekah October 12, 2012 at 8:28 am edit

You have to buy them both in the same transaction. You can only split up the deals where you have to reach a certain dollar amount to get the rewards, such as buy $10, get $5.

I have what may be a really dumb question. The AMC gift card deal Buy $25 get $5 up rewards since its giving an up reward can you use up rewards to buy the gift card?

    Reply
    • Val A. October 12, 2012 at 9:53 am edit

You get the Up reward after purchasing the gift card, but I still don’t think you can use any Ups on a purchase of gift cards since the wording on the Up’s says it can’t be used on ‘prepaid cards’. I wish, that’d be nice!

      • Eric October 12, 2012 at 10:16 am edit

You can’t use +Up rewards towards your gift card. However, there is a loophole. I use Load2Card +Ups and the Load2Card +Ups automatically covered most the cost of the other stuff I was buying and then my manufacture coupons went to paying down some of the gift card price. This might work with paper +Ups as well.

You’re welcome, Josie! And, no, I was at the Hot Springs store. There were two packs left on the marked shelf (only 4 total when I got there), but I know that they keep tons of extra tp & paper towels on the next aisle over, as a sort of overflow area for paper products on unmarked shelves. So if you go there and don’t see any at first, be sure to look good and/or ask! So sorry I couldn’t reply sooner, I’ve been taxi-mom all afternoon. :)

Thanks for letting us know. Do you know if shelf price. I’m guessing the sale price $6.99 is better than gold discount?

The Purex deal worked out good with gold discount $5.19 and got back a $4 +up reward so $1.19. My store’s higher priced though ($6.49 shelf price) so with those that have it for $5.99 or $4.79 with gold that’s only $0.79 after $4 +up reward.

Found some good deals. The skinny cow singles are .99 and wyb2 you get $1 up. I had a bogo free (RP 7/29) so they end up being free. The 2-3 count nonsense socks start at $5.49 at my store so $4.39 after my gold discount and you get a $4 up.

The blistex if you have a gold discount came to $2.23 and I got the $2.50 back. Moneymaker with no coupons. Also the Bedhead with gold discount came from $14.49 to $11.59, $4.59 for the conditioner seemed pretty good.

Select Lysol, Airwick, and Mr Clean products are on sale, 2 for $5. If you haven’t already used your $3/2 Lysol RA video value coupon (expires 10/13), it makes for a nice deal this week for either wipes, all purpose cleaners, bathroom cleaners, or toilet bowl cleaners: Buy 2 Lysol items for $5 – $3/2 RA coupon – $.50/2 printable coupon (from Lysol site) = $1.50, or $.75 each.
I bought the toilet bowl cleaners; they are the nice, big 24 oz size!

I was able to use my two $.25 stride video values coupons on the Stride ID Gum deal. $.50 mm on 2.

And I hate that the +up rewards are no longer immediately available. I was always respectful of other customers and the clerks, but I suspect RA do not want customers rolling the rewards on serial same-day transactions. They probably think that busy customers will just go oop to get everything in one trip–providing an additional opportunity for the customer to miss +up expiration dates!

Thx for all you do, Josie; It’s nice to have a place to get California deals!

It’s a very nice paper towel, in my opinion. 2-ply, thick, and works well! It’s way better quality than other generics, and better than Sparkle, I think. Hope that helps.

hi all, WHAT IS GOLD DISCOUNT?

    Reply
    • Cristie October 17, 2012 at 4:55 am edit

At Rite Aid you accumulate points when you make purchases or fill prescriptions. Check the bottom of your receipt to see how many points you have. When you reach 500 points, you get to the silver discount, which is 10% off; and when you get to 1000 points you get the gold discount, which is 20% off. If you have earned this, you get whichever discount is better during a sale. So, if the sale price is greater than 20% off the shelf price, you don’t get an additional 20%.
