Are you familiar with the gas points at Vons? They have come in handy if you have a Vons gas station at your local store–while those were few and far between, sometimes it wasn’t worth it. The great news is: You can now redeem your Vons Gas Rewards at any local Chevron and Texaco Stations. This makes it easy to redeem those points!
If you don’t know, here is how the points work:
Just shop at Vons or Pavilions with your Vons Club Card or Pavilions ValuePlus Card:
- Each $1 spent on groceries = 1 point
- Each $1 spent on qualifying gift cards = 2 points
- Each $1 spent on pharmacy items = 1 points
Every 100 points earns you 10¢ per gallon Reward for a single fill-up at a participating Chevron or Texaco station. You can use up to 20¢ per gallon in Rewards for a single fill-up.
- 100 points = 10¢ per gallon in Rewards
- 200 points = 20¢ per gallon in Rewards
I was given a $50 Vons gift card to test the program out. I took a trip into Vons and watched my gas points add up! After grocery shopping this week, I had enough points to get $0.10 off per gallon! The gas program is great if you shop there often and it is easy to keep track of your gas points as the tally is at the bottom of your receipt. (seen below) You can also login to your Just4U account under “account” and the total will be there as well.
I love being able to save on gas while shopping every week. I already buy groceries, so why not save even more while doing it?
To top it all off, through 12/15– you can earn 4X’s Gas points on participating gift cards! So, purchase a $100 gift card, earn $0.40 off per gallon! How cool is that?!
