Printing won’t work in chrome for me. I always have to switch over to Internet Explorer just to print any coupons.
Anyway, thanks for the tip, this is great!

Did anyone have any luck with this (in San Diego) ?
If so, could you let me know which Vons it worked at ?
When I tried, it would not accept the $2.50 off manufacturer coupon.
The cashier told me the Just4U personal price of $2.49
was considered a “manufacturer” coupon (not a “store” coupon)
so they couldn’t be used together.
I didn’t try the coke deal, but since I was at Customer Service,
I asked if that deal would have combined, and they told me “no”
( only one deal at a time )

Grab the paper ad and use the in-ad coupon. They know that in-ad coupons can be stacked with paper coupons.

well, I still didn’t have any luck
(using both the Just4U price and the – $2.50 coupon).
Vons’ in my area seem bound and determined
to tell me that the Just4U price is not a “store” coupon
and that price cannot be used with a “manufacturer” coupon.
(It is either one or the other)
But while I was in the store,
I noticed the El Monterey burritos were club priced at $0.89 each.
I couldn’t find these at Walmart, so I still have my “save $1″ coupons.
I am going to try using them at Vons to get them “free”.
BTW, Brazil nuts (in the shell)
are club priced $0.99 (82% savings).
          I don’t normally buy them, but I think that’s a good price.

Hi I am in SD. where did you see brazil nuts? want to try.

            Thanks,

I did get the “free” El Monterey burritos,
but I had to stand firm and insist that the coupon said “ANY”
            (not “family pack”)
I’m beginning not to like Vons.
            :(

I grabbed waffle fries and onion rings….catalina printed no problem! Mine were just free vs. MM but I am still happy! Thanks for the heads up!

I’ve had overage at Vons before, my VONS DID NOT LET ME KEEP THE 3 CENTS! lol, I’m fine with that! I still received my free groceries (this was not a major shopping binge as seen on TV, was about $25). I did have a different past transaction with overage but after reviewing my receipt that was applied to other items I had purchased. I ended up paying less than a $1.00 for Hormel lunch meat, bananas & veggies.

I did not have luck with this coupon. It wouldn’t scan for some reason :(

I always use self check-out at Pavilions. I scan all of the items, then scan the coupons, then I scan my Vons club card. All of the Just 4 U discounts come off so I often get small money-makers. Sometimes and over-ride is needed….all the cashier has to do is swipe their card and I get money back. Never had an issue before.

My Vons tried to tell me that the $2.49 special price was the “coupon” and I couldn’t use the $2.50 off. I pushed the issue a little and they ended up honoring it. Does anyone know if this is indeed a special price or a Mfg. off through Vons? Also, no catalina printed out.

My coupons wouldn’t scan either, but the cashier entered them in manually. The $1 Catalina did print as well. Thank you, Josie! I didn’t realize I should be scanning my Vons club card at the end of the transaction and not the beginning; thank you for the heads up!

        Hi Susan,
I might have missed Josie comment about swiping at the end of the transaction as oppose to the beginning. Why is that again?
        Thanks!

*bumping the question about swiping the vons card…i’m also curious if i should be doing that at the end instead for some reason?

I went to the vons on 9860 National Blvd in culver and the cashier told me that her manager said they are no longer accepting coupons greater than $1.00. So I voided the purchase and asked her further what if the coupon is for a free product and she said they will not accept any coupon greater than a $1.00, so the product has to be a dollar to receive it to be free. Just let you all know, I hope Vons is not changing their coupon policy now…Anyways!! I went down the street to the vons on sepulveda and had no problem and I got the $1.00 catalina.
