I’m sorry for posting this on the new week sales, but if you got the diabetes letter from Rite Aid yesterday, there is a $10 off coupon on the Contour Next EZ Blood meter, right now they are $19.99 less $10 off so $9.99 less the $10 Q and get $5 Up. the coupon expire on the 23 and the $5 UP I think is a monthly up, and the $10 off from the store no idea when it end.

    Just curious…
the fine print at the bottom of the Rite Aid VV says:
“cannot be combined with any other offers”
Can a person really use the “$2/1 L’Oreal Advanced Haircare Shampoo
or Conditioner coupon” to get the item free?
(I am coupon shy after all my fiascos at Vons)

I think that’s normal for all of the Rite Aid VV coupons. I, and many others I am sure, have not had any problems with combining a MQ with a VV coupon.

Not to cause more confusion, buy my VV coupon that I just printed reads: “-$2 off any Loreal Advanced Haircare treatment.” Not shampoo or conditioner. So I think that makes a difference and we’ll see if treatments are included in the sale.

Just came from my local Rite Aid and effective immediately they will not let you use your manufacturer cpns if you have not opted out of having your ups printed:( They also said if you have more than one card assigned to your address they will be deactivating them:( Sad,sad day…

Oh no, I prefer to have my Ups printed so I don’t forget about them. Has anyone else confirmed this at their store? I hope we can still use Mfq cpns with printed UPs.

I can’t say I’m surprised, there are so many people abusing the system with multiple cards, multiple transactions, shelf wiping, etc. The manager of the store I shop in has said they’ve been talking about “solutions” to these problems for some time. Due to their shipment schedule, if a couponer comes in on Sunday and wipes a shelf no one else gets those sale items all week because they don’t get another truck until Saturday night… when the sale is over. This creates a lot of unhappy regular customers and a stressful environment for the employees that have to deal with these unhappy customers.

I expect to see a lot more changes in store coupon policies.

I would assume this frustration is coming from a recent post I read saying you can use up-rewards generated from other people’s cards. What they need to do is implement a system to not allow that, like CVS does. CVS’s system beeps and won’t allow you to use a ECB from another card link.

Hopefully, Rite Aid can work out the gliches of their program to continue to generate sells with our coupons. If not manufactors coupons can be used to pay for items which are over priced on their shelves, then I would predict them closing stores. I know I would not shop at Rite Aid because they are over priced compared to Walmart and Target if it were not for their very alluring Up-Rewards combined with Manufactor coupons.

I sure hope my store doesn’t implement this. Do we know if it is a store problem? or corporate policy?

If I use my UPRewards from a Colgate deal last week towards the B1G1 Colgate deal this week, will I still get the UPRewards this week? Does that make sense?

OK….so I’ve been hanging out with Josie for close to 2 years on SCS. Now I get to ask my rookie question because I forgotted the answer…lol. I hit my local Rite Aid last night and bought 1 bottle of Osteo Bi Flex for $29.99….this weeks +up’s say “spend $30 get $15 +up’s.” It didn’t print out on my receipt. Do you have to get 100%? I thought if you were 90something % you would still get it? Josieeeee (or anyone else who knows) help!!! LOL

    Thanks John

Josie, is the 9Lives cat food special in the current ad?

When I went to the store I was charged $2.99 for each 4-pk so it didn’t turn out to be such a great deal.

Not sure what happened, but I also didn’t any of the $1 +Up wyb 2 (weekly deal?) only the $3 +Up wyb $15 (monthly? which is what was listed on the shelf tag). Not sure if this was due to differences in regions (I’m in Rancho Cucamonga) or what. Very disappointing :-(
