Many of you asked about this and I did have a list but I realized it was a little outdated. So here is an updated list. These are basically my stock up prices. If I can find an item on this list for the price listed below (or cheaper) I usually purchase quite a few to add to my stockpile. Depending on the item and how frequently we go through it— really depends on how much I may purchase at one time. Ex: Juice. I usually purchase about 10-12 if I can get it for $1 or less.
A couple of notes:
Please don’t think that these are prices that you need to achieve on a daily basis. Everyone has different stock up prices and for me, this is something that I have been able to achieve at some point in my couponing career. This really is just a guide for those who may be wondering….
As a couponer, I am not brand specific. My family can use pretty much any brand so, I am not choosy when it comes to products, therefore it is easy for me to achieve these prices. I have learned that as a couponer you must stay true to the saying “beggars can’t be choosers”
Obviously, some people have to be choosers based on their family’s needs.
These prices ARE achievable! Obviously, not on a daily basis, or even a weekly basis –but this is why we call it “stockpiling” Purchase enough for your family that will last you until the next sale (depending on the item–6-8 weeks)
Feel free to use the “print” button at the end of this sheet if you would like to add it to your binder

My Name is Josie and I live in sunny Southern California and I am a stay at home mom to three beautiful boys. We all know that living in California is a task of it's own and saving in California IS possible! I started this blog mainly to share all the awesome deals out there and show others how to save in any area of life. Even though you may make the commitment to be frugal and pinch your pennies doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice!
This is great! Thanks Josie:)
Thanks!
Wow, this is SO helpful!! As a new couponer, I’ve sometimes had a hard time knowing what a good price is for particular items, so this is a great guide. Thank you so much!
Wow! These are great! I’m excited and can’t wait to be able to do this. Just started following you and just started to get serious about couponing! Thanks for posting!
What size diapers are you basing that price on? I have a hard time with the larger sizes now…
I like to pay about $0.20 or less for size 4, 5, or training pants.
Lisa, my son wears a size 4 in Huggies. They have roughly 22-23 diapers in each package. I just paid around $3.60 for those at CVS.. Which makes them $0.15 per diaper.. so it is possible
Am I the only person who has issues with Huggies? They can’t seem to hold more than two pepes before they leak. I stick to up & up. Inexpensive and holds.
I tried Huggies, but found they leaked poop on my littles
So I use Luvs. And I get a great deal on Amazon. For the size 5, I get 150 count for $26….which is about .18 per diaper. And they come straight to my door!
will you share your Huggies deal? My son wear size 5 huggies, and I am due in few weeks so I am starting to buy for my newborn. Would love to pay this little for a package of diapers
Watch the Staples ads for batteries. Quite often, they have a 100% rebate on AA or AAA batteries – name brand. I always have a stock of these because of Staples.
That’s always where I get my AA/AAA batteries! Just went there yesterday for “free” (after rewards/rebates) printer paper and Lysol wipes
thanks for the update!!
