Ground beef is also $2.49 a pound at Fresh & Easy this week (sold in a 2 pound pack for $4.98.) It is far better ground beef than what you get at Vons and if you sign up for their emails you get a $10 off $50 coupon pretty much every week (some weeks its $7 off $50.)

Chicken breasts are $1.99/ lb there this week, too (family pack,) and I find those to be better than Ralphs, too. I find Ralph’s meat to be consistently inferior to other places, their seafood is downright bad (and poorly sourced.)

I take advantage of the $10 off $50 coupon to stock up on meat at Fresh & Easy regularly. Once you’ve had a “friends” card for a while and are on the email list you also start getting personalized “Made for me” coupons that will be $1 off a meat item you buy regularly, etc. and you scan the coupon once for each item you have bought, I’ve never encountered any kind of limit. Before the holidays one of my coupons was 60 cents off butter (which was on sale for $1.99 so I bought 10 of them just in time for holiday baking,) and used the coupon on each one and then used the $10 off $50 on the total order. There are also “rewards” points that get money off, too. I find it much more useful than gas points somewhere!

Thanks for sharing! I love their “rewards” points. Sometimes you can find a good deal on their clearance items. I bought 2 loaves of bread not too long ago for .85 which was $2.99 regular price.
