My Name is Josie and I live in sunny Southern California and I am a stay at home mom to three beautiful boys. We all know that living in California is a task of it's own and saving in California IS possible! I started this blog mainly to share all the awesome deals out there and show others how to save in any area of life. Even though you may make the commitment to be frugal and pinch your pennies doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice!
Is this a good deal? I have a baby shower to go to in 2 wks and I usually buy diapers as my gift. I get the big box @ Costco.
If you are purchasing Newborn diapers I think there are 40 in a pack.. I use this formula to see if I pay less than $0.17 per diaper (my stock up price)
total price (after ECB and coupons) Divided by amount of Diapers. So, in this example: $5.16 per back for Swaddlers AFTER coupons and ECB divided by 40 = $0.12 per diaper.
Costco Sells their boxes of Newborn for $39.99 with 216 diapers in the box.. That equals out to be $0.18 per diaper.
Hope that helps you!
And to piggyback on Josie, if you take that .06 difference and multiply it times the amount of diapers in a Costco pack/216. That is 12.96 extra that you pay when you buy them at Costco vs. CVS.
Awesome deal! Going to give this for a baby shower as well:)
