I’d like to introduce you to my friend Mr. Catalina. Well, we sort of have a love-hate relationship.

Why I love Mr. Catalina:

1. He prints out wonderful coupons based on my shopping habits.
2. Sometimes I get rewarded with awesome dollar off coupons when I purchase select items.
3. Mr Catalina prints out Manufacturer coupons, so sometimes other stores will accept them.
4. If the catalina does not print, don’t loose hope..you can contact the Catalina Company to have them mailed to you!

Why I dislike Mr. Catalina:

1. He often gets jammed (see picture above)
2. He doesn’t alert the cashier when he is out of paper
3. The only time he is working is when the green light on his face is not flickering. (which he also doesn’t alert the cashiers about)
4. If even one little thing is wrong with him, he doesn’t function properly and doesn’t give me the coupons I’m expecting.
5. There is NO real way to know if he will print anything.
6. If he jams there is no way to reprint my coupons.

This summer Regal Cinemas is offering the Summer Movie Express for 9 weeks! During this 9-week festival, participating Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only a dollar on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:00. A portion of proceeds from the Summer Movie Express will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute.

I think this is a great deal. You can find the select packages of Oscar Mayer Lunchmeats (2 oz packages) for only $0.99 at Vons. They also qualify for the Oscar Mayer Catalina:
